From my posts in the beginning of this blog, some of you may know that I was using an Acer TravelMate 4100 series. Well, it was quite a bit of low end laptop without much features, thought I finally upgraded it before I gift it away to my sister. When I first bought it, it had only 256 MB Ram and a 40 GB hard drive.

Anyway, I just bought a new Acer Aspire 5053 and it has a damn good configuration for a Laptop. With 1GB Ram and 120 GB hard drive, it’s a good bargain for only Rs.35,000. It has a AMD Turion 64 bit dual core processor and the performance is quite good. There is an integrated 1.3 mega pixel camera and Bluetooth. So, I think it quite ok for now. I sure will buy a MacBookPro soon, but for the time being, I am happy with my new Acer 5053.

I have always been a big fan of the Caribbean and someday I will sure plan a bit time holiday out there. I would love to roam around in the islands and the surrounding coasts. I have always collected information on the Caribbean lifestyle and I love their festivals and outdoor activities like diving, snorkeling, etc. The biggest attractions of the Caribbean is their sea beaches. The Caribbean beaches are safe for swimming and so you can spend a lot of time in the Caribbean water.

There are many places I would love to visit in the Caribbean. One of my favorite places is Jamaica, the Caribbean paradise. This place is crowded with restaurants and resorts and is one of the most sought after Caribbean holiday destination for adventurous fun. I love the beaches of Jamaica; they are simply irresistible with blue water all around. I also would love to visit Puerto Rico and the Bahamas. I realized how much harm can Noise Pollution can cause to human health just recently while I was traveling on an airplane. The story starts like this. I was traveling back home on a flight and while I was on board, I started feeling lot of pains inside my ear. It never happened to me before that, even though I have traveled in dozens other flights. Maybe because this time I was traveling on a cheap flight where there was no proper sound absorbtion system? Or maybe my resistance to high intensity noise has reduced due to ageing? But the pain I had was terrible.

I never thought I will be getting a check like that. Well, today the postman gave me an envelope and when I open it up, there was a check of $60.28. At first I was surprised because, I only get checks from either Paypal or my dad. But this was a check from UK. When I look further, I was like ahha!
